Finally sharing the December celebration of 1-year anniversary of the publication of my memoir in poems, The Fool in the Corn, with this radio interview graciously conducted by Calaveras County Poet Laureate Linda Toren (author of Raven Braids the Wind, Haiku: A Life in Syllables). We spoke about Heart’s Compass Tarot in part 1, and in part 2, I read poems from The Fool in the Corn (the title poem, as well as Swim Lessons, Potato, Rules for Consulting the Oracle and Full Moon Ghazal).
Linda weaves in poetry news, a poem by David Whyte, beautiful selections of classical music featuring work by Fanny Mendelsohn, Chopin, and a bit of Bach (Glenn Gould performing the Goldberg Variations). We met auspiciously at the Sherlock Holmes Tarot Poetry event at Baker Street West in Jackson and I am grateful for Linda’s labor of love conducting Way with Words interview programming. Special thanks to KQBM for the air time.
